Our First Scouts Camping Trip

There were a lot of people/families and we all had a great time (of course!)
We got a 3 room 8 person tent which we got to break in =-)

They had some real wildlife up close and in person. This deer made the trip exciting as it snatched a tent pole from our neighbor and swam away with it across the lake . . . what a kick

Ryan had to help out by cleaning out the grills in the camping area. The Scouts do a good job of teaching the kids to take care of the area. Pack it in, pack it out and leave no trace.

Ryan earned his whitteling badge - they had they use soap to practice. Mike gave him a pocket knife to use.

The kids both (all) loved fishing. I just took pictures. Ryan lasted a lot longer than Amber.

Ryan got some awards and patches for the camping trip!

Tulsa Zoo

We all loved the Tulsa Zoo! We went with the Scouts and got a Family Membership! So hopefully we will go again soon (and a lot next year).
