Freedom Fall Festival

Amber dressed up like a Rock Star for the Freedom Fall Festival
Ryan finally got to wear his uniform from Kenpo Karate in Hanover again. His wasn't a costume, he finally got to wear his Gi and green belt, both which he earned. He was very proud.

We went early and Ryan and his friend helped with the games. Mike and I got to cook the hotdogs.

Owasso Harvest Festival

Our church was a part of the Owasso Harvest Festival and the kids and I all went and helped out with games and had fun.

Ryan got to help with the juggling act. All he had to do was stand there while they juggled pins in front of (and behind) him (literally).

Family Visit

Mike's brother and daughter Lauren came down for a visit. It was great as it had been a long time since we had seen them.

We all walked down to the creek where the kids love to play. We even took Booker with us.

Lauren fixed Amber's hair (which Amber loved)! We hope it won't be quite as long before we see them again! We really appreciate that they came out! Unfortunately their flight home was a long one . . . it's not as easy to fly standby as it used to be.

Weblos Woods - Mike and Ryan Camp Trip 10/10/09

Weblos Woods was the last campout for the year. Mom's and families are not invited, so it is mainly a manly campout (hee hee). Ryan and Mike went and had a blast (literally) Amber and I had some fun girl time at home.

Of course we always try to get a picture of the camp site.

The best part of this campout was the cannons, more importantly, firing the cannons. Ryan got his chance (the only reason he isn't plugging his ears is because he was wearing ear plugs)

Mike did too =)

Ryan and his buddy getting ready for the wall climb and zip line.

They had a great trip, wish I could have gone . . . but Ryan's growing up and I won't be able to attend as often now. The Scouts camp a lot more, but their families, not so much.

Tulsa State Fair

At the last minute we decided to take the kids to the Tulsa State Fair. They were so little when we went to the Indiana State Fair they really didn't remember what a fair was.
They had a petting zoo and the kids loved looking at all the funny animals . . . like this one

The kids loved the rides the best =)

Even in this blurry picture you can see how much they loved the rides =)

It was a lot of fun, even more fun since we went with our friends. It is way too expensive though =( What's up with that? Definitely worth it though!
