Decorating for Christmas

This year we decorated for Christmas the weekend after Thanksgiving (as usual). I wasn't quite as motivated as the kids this year though. So, I told them to go for it. They brought down all of the decorations (several boxes) and they put up the tree and all the decorations completely by themselves! WOW - they even did my bird tree. They put on Santa hats and worked like crazy. I was amazed, it is the most they have ever done . . . now, I only hope they will be as motivated when it comes time to take everthing down . . . doubtful . . .

Amber celebrated her birthday with a sleepover with several of her friends.











Ryan's friend Caden managed to sneak in and get some cake too =)

Amber got an MP3 player from Mike and I. When she opened it she was very excited . . . then said "what is it"? Hee hee, we explained and she was excited all over again.

Amber got a camera from her O'ma and O'paShe got lots of money from family from out of state and can't wait to go shopping.
