Ryan and Amber make breakfast

(After hearing several beeps from the microwave )
RYAN - Mom, how many seconds is two minutes
ME - 120, but you can just push 2 0 0 and it will cook for two minutes . . . . . hey, what are you cooking in the microwave for 2 minutes? . . . don't put that poptart in the microwave . . . . it's wrapper is metal so definitely don't put that poptart in the microwave.
RYAN - I'm not, I'm just using the timer on the microwave, I'm putting it in the freezer, it say's on the package "try these flavors frozen".
ME - oh, okay . . . . hey, why do you think it will freeze in two minutes?
RYAN - I don't know, I'm just going to try it, if it's not cold I'll put it in longer. Come on Amber let's play until we hear the timer.

AMBER - Mom, can I have some gum after I eat my breakfast.
ME - sure
RYAN - Can I have some gum after I eat my breakfast too?
ME - yes

AMBER AND RYAN - let's go play . . . . beep, beep, beep, to late breakfast is ready. It's not cold enough.
RYAN - but I'm hungry.
ME - what are you going to do
RYAN - I'm going to keep putting it in for 2 minutes until it is frozen, I'll just keep checking it.
ME - Ryan, it's really going to take a lot of 2 minutes to freeze it.
RYAN - it is . . . . oops . . . I'm just going to steal Amber's cereal
AMBER - stop eating my cereal
RYAN - I'm not going to time it, that's just wasting electricity
RYAN - I'm just going to eat it, it's cold enough

Ryan Win's the Dale Earnhart Award!!!!

Ryan had a great time at the Boy Scouts Pinewood Derby Car Races! He won the Dale Earnhart trophy and we were sooo proud of him! This is the Pact Leader giving him his trophy!

Ryan's car is the Red and Black car in the far lane with the leggo driver =)

They let the boys sit at the finish line, but they can't touch their cars

Both Ryan and Mike were proud, they both put a lot of work into it (especially Ryan). Mike made sure Ryan did the majority of the work, Mike just helped a bit.

Amber got a flat Stanley from her friend Leah in Hanover. We took a picture and printed out a copy on the computer to mail back with him. He just had to be included.

Christian Karate

Ryan is sticking with the Karate at Church

He is making friends and seems to love when they run laps (hee hee)

He had talked about quiting a couple of times, but I have just made the decision to stop going to Bible Study Fellowship in Tulsa on Tuesday nights, and instead I will be facilitating a Beth Moore Bible study at the church (if anyone signs up). Tuesday nights went late for the kids, and this change will support Ryan staying in Karate. If he has to be there anyway, why not be in Karate instead of childcare. Amber seems fine either way.

My real babies

Shelby has such short hair she get's cold easily. She wraps her big long legs up as tight as she can and just shivers and shakes like crazy. So I took Buddy's blanket and wrap it around her. She must like it because she tucks her head right in and keeps it on all night. Booker seems to have stolen Shelby's big round bed, so Shelby took Buddy's and Buddy get's stuck on the other side of the bed by himself now. At least sometimes. I guess they trade off sometimes too.

John 316 Christmas

It has been a bit of a slow start to this new year . . . sorry I haven't updated this much.

We started off the year attending a Christmas play at John 316. Some of the kids I went on the Missions Trip to Mexico were in it and it was soooo good to see them again!

CJ was a narrator

Mykel taped it

Hannah was a Grandma

The pictures aren't that great, but it was great to finally see the Youth Center and to see everyone again. King James was there, he came and rapped his testimony at our church in November. I got a hug, but no picture! These kids need our prayers! So please add them to yours! They are great kids!!
