AMBER'S CORNER

Amber did the Walk-A-Thon for school and she walked 37 laps around the school =) The average was 15-25 so she blew that away.

RYAN'S CORNER

Ryan loves all our pets! But Shelby is special . . . especially large that is. He loves to play with the dogs!

About Me

Gyna: A Christian Mother of two, married since 8/98 to "My Man"! Graduated with a degree in Hotel Mgmt. worked 10 years with Hyatt (in 3 different states) and was a Catering Convention Services Manager at the Grand in San Francisco when I left to have my babies. I got pregnant three months after leaving and have been working part time to be home with my kids as much as possible. I'm the secretary at our church home now. We have moved around following my husband's job and have lived in seven different states so far. Haven't lived anywhere I didn't like and have met a lot of awesome people! Spend most of my time now hanging with my kids, my Man and my pets. Just trying to follow God's will for my life thankful to be forgiven and set free by His incredible Grace and Mercy.

Waking the Dead - John Eldredge

Either we wake each day to tackle our "to do" list, get things done, guided by our morals and whatever clarity we may at the moment have. Or we wake in the midst of a dangerous Story, as God's intimate ally, following him into the unknown.

Narrow is the way, said Jesus. How shall we be sure to find it? We need God intimately,and we need him desperately.

Only by walking with God can we hope to find the path that leads to life. That is what it means to be a disciple. After all - aren't we "followers of Christ?" Then by all means,let's actually follow him. Not ideas about him. Not just his principles. Him.

Teach a man a rule and you help him solve a problem; teach a man to walk with God and you help him solve the rest of his life.

Friends

I have friends, and my best friend has two dogs to add to our pack, so our dogs have friends too. We only managed to get four of the five in this picture, but you get the idea.

My Baby

Shelby - I am still amazed at her size =0 Wow - she is beautiful. And I am crazy about her, she is such a good dog. She tries soooo hard to please. She can sit on the couch with her feet still touching the ground (but we don't let her) She is 1/2 Weimaraner and 1/2 Doberman

The Trouble Maker

My Little Buddy - always at my feet (or on them). He is a love, stays close by and follows me everywhere. Always getting in trouble though (and get's Shelby in trouble too). Makes Booker bark (a lot). He just want's to be loved=)

The Old Man

Booker - everyone loves him, he's just a rug with legs. He puts up with Buddy (but he loves Shelby). He has learned to open the gate and get upstairs to visit the cats (he loves them too).

We all love the dogs!

Pearl

Pearl is our fat cat and Booker loves her . . . maybe a little too much (yes, that is her rear in his face, something she always does to him, but he doesn't seem to mind - go figure)
