Oklahoma State Fair =) Fun Times, Fun Times =)

We went to the Tulsa State Fair and had a fun time! We rode some rides (not many, they were really, really expensive and had long lines), we saw live animals and got to pet and feed them at the petting zoo, and my fav! We ate good food like fried brownies, fried butter, fried potatoes (also known as french fries) and the best was a hamburger with donuts for the bun! I wanted to try that one at home but Mike said "no" and Ryan didn't think it would turn out as good =( We had a lot of fun though =)
The petting zoo was cool because you could actually pet, and feed the animals. Ryan liked the "petting" part (hee hee) okay, it did feel really soft and cool
Mike was showing the kids what not to do . . . don't use your hands like this (hee hee).
You were supposed to use little shovels that they had for you to put the food on to try to feed the animals. This ostrich did the best at going after the food . . . and a few hands too =)

Amber gave up using the shovel to feed this guy and let him eat out of her cup

This was Ryan's favorite ride. Dad went with him and said it was fun too =)

They had a tent full of butterflies in one of the buildings. It was soooo cool how the butterflies would land all over you. Amber and Ryan loved it =)

This was Ryan's favorite butterfly (can you tell). It was soo cool to be able to see that it had blue on the top side of it's wings . . . .
And brown underneath it's wings . . . . or on the bottom side . . . or whatever it is called (you get my point).
