Our van broke down the night that the kids and I came home from the International Thanksgiving Dinner (11/18). The timing was amazing as the dinner was way out in the boonies and the car got us all the way back to the corner by our house before dying. I was able to coast home. Anyway, we were without it for almost three weeks. Mike was in Seattle and the van was fixed so my friend Bobbie agreed to go with me to pick it up. We took the kids, got the van and I took them out to dinner as a thank you. Then we went to Rhema and walked around looking at all of the lights. On our way home we stopped at Bass Pro and did a little shopping. We really made a night of it, but hadn't planned it, so Amber didn't have a warm coat, but she did have a scarf. It was in the lower 40's (brrrr) The hot chocolate helped keep them warm =)
