Saudi Students

We had hoped to be a host home for some Saudi Arabian students this summer. We said that we could host a girl and a chaperone (they wouldn't send a girl without a brother or male relative), but that we would need help with transportation since we work. They did not have any girls so we did not get to host a student. But, we did end up helping provide transportation (God has such a sense of humor). On Monday's and Thursday's we would give them a ride to English Club (often in Tulsa). Ryan had a great time doing this and really liked hanging out with the Saudi's.
Before they left we got to go to a "good bye" party for them in a friends incredible home! Ryan and I both had a blast!
We played games . . . blindfold the Saudi (okay, they turned it around and we Americans had to get blindfolded too)

Ryan got to go swimming
And play in the game room
We didn't get to watch a movie while we were there because we were too busy, but I would have like to!
And we got a picture of Ryan with one of his favorite actors . . . action figures . . . whatever
As overwhelmed as we were by this home, we were equally overwhelmed by the Saudi students. We really had fun hanging out with them while they were here and getting to know them and learning a few Arabic words while teaching them some English
