We went to Cub World 2009 . . . even though we had nothing but rain for the past several days. I was worried that we would be knee deep in mud, but it was actually perfect weather and not muddy at all =) It was a pirate theme this year and Ryan made a really cool T-shirt.
There is always lots of wildlife (especially tarantula's) and lots of poison (ivy, oak and sumac were all over the place, but nobody got itchy =)
For the first time we rented a canvas tent instead of setting ours up. With the threat of rain we figured it would be easier. It did rain, but only a bit =) I like the cots the best, but spiders were more of a problem.
They had lots of fun activities
Ryan loved the boat! I was just amazed - how cool.

Mike was hooked up to coffee most of the weekend since he worked all night Friday night and then went straight to Cub World. He was up for 30+ hours straight. What a good dad!
Amber still had her pirate's eye patch on her head =)
Ryan's Den used Mike's coat for a skit.
Ryan was in several skits, in this one he is being "light headed" and he has one of those lights that can go on your head.
Amber even got to do a skit. She went around saying "attention, attention, attention and when someone asked what she was doing she said "I just wanted a little attention".
